Sam, I'm bringing home dinner from Tina's.

[OOC: Sirius and Merope are siblings who have escaped from their crappy old family lives and have come to town to start anew. Sam's a motorcycle mechanic and Mary's a waitress in a coffee shop. If you guys want flood CR with her, them yeah, please let me know.]

[And half an hour later, Mary showed up carrying a paper bag that was starting to get translucent in the corners from the grease.]

[As promised, a fresh pot of coffee was waiting. Sam slid out from under the car as he heard someone come in. He grinned when he saw his sister.]

Hey, kiddo. [Yep, little sister gets a pet name. He wiped his hands on a greasy rag and tossed the rag onto his workstation.] That bag smells like heaven.

Hey Sammy. [Mary gave the bag a little bit of a shake, but she did it gently so that the contents didn't seep over the edges.]

Bacon cheeseburger, fries, extra pickles. Just how you like them.

Perfect. You're the best sister on Earth, have I ever told you that? [He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek as he passed her.] Let me just wash up. There's coffee, but I wouldn't trust the milk. [The manly man types in the garage were always willing to stock the mini-fridge with beer, but less likely to stock it with milk or creamer. So, if there was milk, it was probably really old.]

[Mary grinned, and she touched his cheek when he moved by her. Having seen what the fridge looked like, she wasn't going to be drinking anything from it. Mary was a bit of a neat freak with that, and she didn't want to need to take any sick time.

Pouring out two coffees, black with sugar, she waited for her brother to return.]

[He normally would make do with the rag wipe-down, but he knew his sister would have a fit, so he washed his hands and forearms properly in the sink, with the industrial soap. He whistled a bit as he attempted to remove some of the grease from beneath his fingernails, but he wasn't a miracle worker, and most of it stayed behind. That was life when you were a mechanic.

He joined his sister in the break room and hung his work shirt on a hook, leaving the clean t-shirt on that he wore beneath it. He sat down across from her.]

How was your day? [He started on the coffee, because he could use the caffeine, but the bacon cheeseburger was grabbed for in short order.]
